My goal is to make the web and print design process as simple and painless as possible. Depending on project complexity and your availability for communication, current project completion time is typically 4-12 weeks.
Initial Contact: Use my design quote form or email me directly to start the discussion of your project needs. Please be as descriptive as possible when contacting me about your design. The more information and details that you give me, the more accurate my design quote will be. Do you need a specific navigation style? Flash? Layout preferences? etc.
Quote Approval: Once you approve the design quote and are ready to start the process, I will send you a PayPal invoice for the initial 50% deposit (required before work starts). You will also receive a design form and a terms of use agreement that will need to be signed and returned to me.
Required Information: You will be responsible for providing all text and product photos for your project. Please have these ready early in the process. The more information you give me upfront, the faster the design process is.
Revisions and Approval: I allow as many revisions as necessary (within reason - please don't take advantage of this) to create a design that you are truly happy with. This is where having a focused concept on your part really comes in handy. Knowing what you want for your website is key to a satisfactory result. Once you approve your design, any additional (major) changes will be billed at my hourly rate.
Final Stage: After approval, I will send you the remaining invoice for your final payment balance. Once payment is received, I will upload your design to your domain. I will test your design and put the final touches together. I'll have you go through it one last time to check for any missing elements. After an all clear, you're good to go! I'm always available if you have questions regarding your design after installation.
