Good photos are key to selling online. Pikifx is a great free program that allows you to upload a photo and edit it in several ways. You can resize/crop, add image effects, borders and even text! I found this site very easy to use and I think it would be a great tool for any WAHM. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

With the success of my “I’m the big brother/little brother” turtle shirts, I finally took the time to create a set for little girls. I’ve had a lot of fun learning how to create vector illustrations using Adobe Illustrator CS3, with which I created the ladybugs for my newest shirt design. I hope this design brings many smiles to little girls and their families!

Michelle of Elemental Muse has provided another great resource for WAHMs. Moving web hosts can be confusing and frustrating. Her tips help explain the process and help to put some control back into your hands.
“Transitioning to a New Website Host:Step by step how to safely move your website from one host to another. Includes a comparison chart you can fill in to help you decide on a new host. “
When I first started out online, I used StatCounter. It was free and worked for me in the beginning. The more traffic my sites started to generate, the more options and control I wanted over my site statistics. I came across Google Analytics in a Google search…imagine that! Google Analytics is FREE, easy to setup, and you can manage several website within one account. One of my favorite features is the Site Overlay. This allows you to view where your visitors are clicking on your site. It’s a great way to get an idea of how your site is used and what areas are working the best.
I recommend that every WAHM gives Google Analytics a try. All the features might seem overwhelming at first, but the more and more you learn about it, the more you’ll love it!
